Uber’s $950M purchase of Delivery Hero’s Foodpanda business blocked by Taiwan

Uber Technologies (NYSE:UBER) planned $950 million acquisition of Delivery Hero SE’S (DHERO) Foodpanda business in Taiwan was blocked by the country’s antitrust regulator.

The acquisition was blocked by Taiwan’s Fair Trade Commission, Delivery Hero confirmed in a statement on Wednesday.
